About Power Transformers

Shri Krsna Urja offers power transformers with capacities of up to 12.5 MVA and primary/secondary voltages of up to 33kV, as well as Off-Circuit Tap Changer (OCTC), On-Load Tap Changer (OLTC), ONAN/ONAF/ OFAF cooling, and other necessary accessories. Power transformers are oil submerged and have a lifespan of around 25 years. We manufacture very cost-effective low-energy Power Transformers that also meet the State Electricity Board's requirements.

Power transformers can also be incorporated based on customer specifications. Power transformers are frequently used in transmission networks to step up or down the voltage level during transmission from one location to another in order to reduce energy losses. It runs mostly during high or peak loads and achieves maximum efficiency at or near full load.
